Being organized sometimes requires luck.

Two-plus hours at the Dentist instead on one hour. No worries, we walked out with the latest in braces technology, Invisalign.

Come home, eat brunch, notice pool waterfall isn’t on. Check pool pump to discover after four years, it’s not working. Ok, so it’s 11am Friday. We leave in 24 hours for a writer’s retreat.

What are the odds of getting a replacement pool pump (with zero notice) the day before leaving home for a week?

Without an immediate (see day) fix this time of year, a week without circulation and we’ll return to an algae pond.

Stakes are high.

Darren was out to the house and done in less than two hours.

A month and a half past due, but i renewed my annual USATF membership yesterday.

 

Things can crumble apart even when you’re organized. The thought of trying to get through the past few days as a disorganized person blows my mind. i could barely keep it together; being decently organized is the only thing that saved my sanity.

So familiar with so many Disney details…it was never the goal.

 

Told the story yesterday about how i became a Disney Institute Keynote Speaker and business advisor. To me, it’s not much of a story. The phone rang, i answered it, i was confused why they were asking me, then they clarified and asked if i wanted to join the Disney Institute team as a facilitator for all the Disney business programs. Six months later i said yes.
