In the Southern Hemisphere, it will be the summer solstice and the longest day of the year.

Dining room table become school project — Last night after working all day.

Thanksgiving break and Saturday project day. Yes, everyone in our Family worked yesterday, even though it was the final Saturday of Thanksgiving break.

Interesting and thought-provoking to read Facebook updates about some retailers not closing on Thanksgiving Day to allow their employees to be home with their Families.

All i could think about was working at Disney for 30 years and never having weekends off. Yes, in the second half of my career sometimes i had weekends off, but i could never plan for it.

Ever.

Living near Disney — Yesterday’s view while trimming a few trees.

Thanksgiving began with us serving others and ended with us serving each other. Cheryl and i did stuff around the house that we enjoy, but rarely seem to have time to enjoy. And by enjoy, i mean to do these things at an un-rushed pace – at a rhythm of life pace, not some “i need to check this off my list so i can move to the next thing” pace.

The magic of organized habits. Our brain is super powerful and is programmed by the thoughts that fill our brain.

Thinking nothing but good and decent thoughts is transformational.

Thinking predominantly about fear, failure, low self-esteem, problems, unfairness, insecurities, excuses, regret – all these things are transformational too.

Pick one.

Stick with it for a lifetime and reap what you’ve sown.

It really isn’t any more complicated than that.
