Guard your shedding

Pelicans in tree with moon
Saw the moon. Saw the Pelicans. Wondered if a photo like this was possible. Without going out of my way, it was.

Guard your shedding.

Shed like you mean it.

And guard your ability to say goodbye to things that take up physical, spiritual, and emotional space.

In the photo above, i shed any hope of this photo as we walked along the beach. The moon and pelicans seemed miles apart from our angle.

As we walked back to our room, it just happened – i let go and then it found me.

This claim is not socially acceptable

Siri elevation inquiry

Glacier National Park eastern perimeter
Glacier National Park Eastern perimeter, driving North to St Mary, and then West to Logan Pass.

Not gonna lie.

Feeling tinges of guilt for wanting to spend as much of Summer 2018 in Glacier as i can.

Feeling anxiety for the audacious goal of living my life as if i had only ten years left.

Why?

Because there are less than 18 months for the “deadline”.

(Remember, i made this visionary statement six months before my 50th birthday, when i officially incorporated my business on January 1, 2009)

To arbitrarily call Summer 2018 my last is socially not acceptable.

No one is running up to me reassuring me i’m on to something extraordinary, brave, and inspiring.

No.

One.

PS. My “deadline” is June 8, 2019 – my 60th birthday – and therefore Summer 2019 is not an option.

PSS. Obviously, life may grant many more years and Summers. And yet there’s the remote possibility – for any of us – we won’t see this Summer.

Organize your life to create memories, and…

Sympathy note

    Lines 6 & 7….Memories become treasure.

Never heard it put that way.

Memories are treasure.

Organize your life to create memories, and…

Never let your memories be bigger than your dreams.

Keep moving forward.

Good morning first day of 2016, i’m dying

Note: This post was written before sunrise January 1, 2016..

Good morning 2016, i’m dying.

Did he just say that?

Yep.

i’m dying.

Here’s the thing, we are all dying.

Few of us are preparing for it.

In 2008-2009, i started to ask myself, “Why?”

The buzz that many had last night from alcohol pales in comparison to the buzz i get from living without regret, living with peace and contentment, living with constant gratitude.

Lived with the first (alcohol) for about 28 years. Living with the second (no alcohol) for 15 years now.

Yes, this is an expert opinion.
