Apple Watch release timeline — Time flies.

Stopped wearing a watch in 1995.

Why?

In 1995, clocks where embedded/included in every digital device. Computers, Laptops, pagers, phones, cars, ovens, etc.

Plus, looking at a bare wrist facilitated this habit-changing mantra:

Manage your time with a compass not a clock.

Note: Started wearing a wrist-computer in 2015. Became a first generation Apple Watch early adopter.

Why?

Some day tech will be wearable and the iPhone will be a relic.
