Some thought i was “only” a facilitator

Disney Speaker jeff noel — University of Iowa Health Care. One of my favorites. Made an intentional choice to stay in the facilitator role. The increased pay and increased responsibility minus the diminished joy due to teaching less wasn’t worth it.

People still think of me as a cartoonist, but the only thing I lift a pen or pencil for these days is to sign a contract, a check, or an autograph. – Walt Disney

i’ve seen many people, almost predictably, climb the ladder and the higher they climbed, the further they got from what they loved to do. Be aware of this phenomenon and be careful.
