Can you organize your leadership life lessons?

Orlando Based Disney Keynote Speakers
Photo from either side of 2005, the year Bob Iger became our CEO. Bob signed a 10-year contract.

Here are my top three Disney Leadership lessons:

  1. .think .differently
  2. Take risks
  3. Envision a much better future

Inspired while watching Bob Iger’s Masterclass lesson 12 (of 13) last night.

Home bottomline only you can do

Everyday i strive to help everyone (self included) feel like what they do matters. Yesterday, November 16, was a cold day in Orlando with daytime high near 60, plus windchill.

Yesterday’s lists were longer than i wanted. Today’s list is the summary, the big picture.

Home bottomline only i can do:

Choosing my structure and processes for the paperwork of life.

Which way should you go?

Which way should you go?

It’s simple, for high performers anyway, go the long way.

The long way is the shortcut.

PS. Could we use our same strengths (Habit, dialogue, consistency, etc) that created negative habits (overeating, giving up on being organized, etc) to reverse engineer our lives to an approach mindset?

It’s easy to not over-focus

It’s easy to not over-focus.

So many life priorities.

So many work priorities.

It’s easy to let ”little” things fall off our radar. Things like opening the car door for our spouse.

To us it’s so small it seems insignificant.

To the recipient, the thing, when done consistently, speaks volumes about what we value.

Business growth intoxication

Disney Institute Keynote Speakers
This is the key to personal (and business) transformation.

When i look at how Mid Life Celebration, LLC has grown in the four years since retiring from Disney, it’s astonishing.

And a bit intoxicating.

If i’m not careful, i’ll be tempted to continue the exponential growth.

If i simply held at this year’s revenue, i’d be set.

The effort to grow is time-consuming.

Time is my greatest asset between now and June 8, 2019.

And then there’s the looming decision to hire an exclusive global speaker bureau agent.
