Getting organized is similar to losing weight

Much like trying to lose weight, getting decently organized is a multi-year process that requires us to change many things.

Some changes are relatively small, like curbing souvenir purchases.

Some changes are painful, like purging things we saved but haven’t touched in 10, 20, or even 30 years.

The only way to become decently and consistently organized is to make it a priority. To make it part of your personal culture and a standard by which you will not waiver from.

We know this.

Well over two years past the expiration date (Feb 09, 2012). Any good news here?

Yes.

Now when there is thorough pantry cleaning, far fewer boxes and cans like this are tossed.

Perfect? No.

Improving significantly? Yes.
