ABC Evening News with Diane Sawyer, on Fridays, honors a “Person Of The Week” at the end of the broadcast. Last night it was Garth Brooks, who’s sold more music than Michael Jackson. He’s doing 9 concerts in 6 days and donating all the money to the Tennessee flood victims.

Ever have something on your mind, for a long time, and then you are given a sign?

Feels good. Liberating. Joyful. Doesn’t it?

Heading back to the vet to check on Carter.

All that’s in my mind right now is this Garth Brooks song, The Dance.

The pain that is being felt and the pain that will continue to swell, is worth every minute we spent together.

However, on the other hand, the pain is beginning to cut so deeply, but so slowly, that I hear myself thinking, “I’m never getting another Dog.”
