This might not work and it might be a breakthrough.

For 90 days, beginning tomorrow and (hopefully) through April 1, 2017, i’m trying a creative approach to get back on track.

Have been brainstorming more effective ways to manage my time in order to deliver seven Disney Business books by the time the iPhone 8 is released.

The easy option is to back away from the original goal for #7in1.

Not gonna happen.

At any train Station, simply remove the cardboard placard and leave the stroller behind. Pick any empty stroller at your next stop.

Sharing is taken for granted because we think our issue and solution only applies to our line of business.

The Painters at Central Shops created a propellor-like drill bit to allow for faster and better paint mixing of large quantities of product.

The Chefs at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort saw what the painters did and adapted the same process for mixing large quantities of salad dressings, soups, and sauces.

Generate Ideas

You can only pick a new idea or solution from what’s generated. Quantity over quality. Never evaluate in the generation stage. Think outside the box in this phase.

 

Select Ideas

It’s critical to think inside the box during this phase. Define your box using vision, mission, brand, and customer as the four sides.

 

Implement Ideas

Establish a corporately approved continuous improvement process. Ensure it becomes a way of life.

 

Leader’s Role

Every leader is an environmentalist. Whatever happens or doesn’t happen is the leader’s fault. Every leader’s job is to create a collaborative culture where ideas have no choice but to flourish.
