Compact discs. Long ago taken out of their hard plastic cases and placed in individual sleeves, and the small “album booklet” recycled.

Over 2,000 of them.

Will be gone tomorrow.

Donated.

Reducing.

Lean.

Freedom.

Thank you Apple Music.

And the fact that CDs are going the way of the cassette tape, and vinyl albums – perhaps this is overdue.

Meanwhile, others will go to their deathbed with their CD collection.

Why?

Disney Institute Speakers
Disney Institute Cast Members love music like everyone else. Even retired DI Cast Members. i’ve never taken CDs with me to Glacier National Park.

 

Who wants my 2k+ CD collection?

Why do i need to organize (done long ago) and store 2,000 compact discs?

With Apple Watch 3, i now have 40 million songs on my wrist.

Any takers?
