Day 6 East Glacier, home

National Park Lodge celebration
The entire Christmas in July entourage.
23-second video: What time is the 3 ’o clock parade?
11-second video: The Maintenance team entry.
Woman and a dog next to a golf cart
The dog is sporting antlers.
Disney Pixar toy figurines
Not quite noon. (It took me until 4:30 PM to finish blogging today.)
Small toy figurines
Surprise!!! Right?

Today’s rest day is an excellent choice.

So good on so many levels.

Dear universe, thank you again.

Day 5 East Glacier, home

30-second video: Some location context.
Inside Out 2 toy figurines
Pixar’s 2024 release. They are parked for now on my room desk.
Apple Watch
Only six miles today. Wasn’t feeling up to the 12 miles required to get to Upper Two Med Lake. All good.

The last thing i wanna do the first few days in Glacier, is overdo it.

Thank you, Universe, for being a great teacher. Your patience is extraordinary.

Day 4 East Glacier, home

National Park Lodge lobby
This morning, 520am. From just outside my hotel room door.
National Park Lodge lobby
On my way outside to the rental car, 5:22am.
Vase of daisies
Didn’t notice this last night when i arrived and checked in, but noticed it this morning on my way to the car. Texted it to Cheryl.
Car dashboard
In the van, ready to go…5:29am.
Person at trailhead sign
Taking these selfies at trailhead signs helps me remember what happened and when.
Hiking trail
First one up here.
Apple Watch fitness app
Documenting the one-way mileage, and the new 2024 hiking sneaker.

i take photos like this to remind me the elevation of the places i visit.

Let’s round it to 7.5 miles depending on which device you go with. Respectable considering i’ve only been here 14 hours.
Christmas present
This is the lead-in photo for tomorrow’s posts.

Living and breathing Disney creativity for a lifetime makes the process i used last night no more difficult than breathing the air i need to breathe with every breath.

It was a no brainer.

Scenic Point hike.

Capturing for posterity: About 2pm yesterday bumped into Keegan, the Lodge GM, in the lobby and have been reflecting on our conversation. This leads me to say this, my life is my message.

Day 3 East Glacier, home

Airline update
So far so good.
Airline update
Arrived at airport at 7:00am. Gate at 7:30am. Flight at 10:00am.
Airplane aisle seat view
Exit row. Aisle. Connected to wifi at 34k’. Next stop, Denver.

Experiencing a paradox right now, an hour into the first fight.

Thought this day would never come.

Can’t believe it’s here already.

Signing off for the day.

Looking forward to sleeping in Glacier Park Lodge tonight. And, waking up in GPL tomorrow.

Day 2 East Glacier, home

4-second video: This type of video requires a ‘Disney Speaker’ to be at a Disney Theme Park and reply to someone in real time. At will. Only a handful of professional speakers in the world can do a video, at will, like this. Truth be told, i know of no other Disney Customer Service Speaker who can/does.
email screen shot
He replied that he did receive it. Weird that i can’t find a copy. But grateful to know the timely GUSH opportunity wasn’t missed.

Maybe the two day departure/arrival delay is the Universe’s way of gifting me with an even greater appreciation for what is about to happen.

Been waiting on yesterday’s departure for nearly a year.

And to return to Glacier with both eyes still functioning is literally a miracle.

Maybe the Universe thought i needed to recenter my “miracle-conscience appreciation”.

Dear Universe, i trust your judgement. Thank you.
