The end of another magnificent day. Our room is at the dark spot behind the fourth floor balcony.

One of my micro-prioritized priorities is ease of execution.

When in Glacier, i do not want to drive far to start and end a day.

The 40-minute roundtrip drive to Two Medicine is a blessing and a gift we’ve given to ourselves.

Two Med is an experiment this Summer.

We exposed ourselves for a week last year and decided to extend it this year to three weeks.

Final end of today’s trail.

A long, even strenuous, day on the trail is radically better than a long, slothful day on the couch.

Someday, i/we hope to hike to Dawson Pass. Not ready for it now. In 2023 we went up as far as ‘No Name Lake’.

Chronic home-life adventures motive me to go big.

Mid-August temps at 4,800′ on the Eastern Continental Divide’s slope.

It’s wonderful to be able to see the keyboard and the WordPress Admin screen.

It’s wonderful to be able to see the photos to decide which ones to use in the blogs.

It’s wonderful to be able to see the trails.

It’s wonderful to be able to see my wife.

ice cream menu
Not every day ends with ice cream, but with an ice cream shop in your Lodge’s ‘living room’, it’s always an option.

Speaking of ice cream and small worlds, blogging this month is unique to me.

Trying to creatively manage a few life-challenges while deciding on a few important life-opportunities.
