To bison in the rain
The herd moved from their position at the roadside fence. These two held their ground.

Bison.

Wild.

Afraid of humans.

But the Universe has secrets humans cannot comprehend.

The temperature dropped near freezing and the wind and rain intensified.

In the present moment a revelation.

These creatures are far superior to humans.

How?

Surviving the elements with nothing.

Had i been tasked to survive on their hillside overnight, i would have died from hypothermia.

The power welded by creatures is diverse. The common denominator is that all wild creatures are equipped to survive in a harsh environment.

Don’t count on me.

Want vibrancy at home?

Learn and build it for yourself.

Important reality check: No one is coming to build anything for you. Repetition is the mother of all learning.

Prolific roadside vegetation. We wondered what plant/flower it is.
Brown flower seed pods
It’s the purple one. Mystery solved. Curiosity satisfied.

Hopefully we organized our living quarters to avoid getting sick.

Our four friends are sick. One is miserable (their description). Two have the chills. The fourth is fighting valiantly.

Then there’s us.

We drove five hours today. Seperately. Yet the six of us share the same cabin.

We agreed to keep some windows open and dress heavier to facilitate cold (incoming) indoor fresh-air ventilation.

Every day is a gift.

If you have five great friends at the end of your life you are blessed.
