Seemingly insignificant

This heart-shaped rock is insanely tiny inside Glacier National Park’s one-million acres. Cheryl noticed it.

Context. 

Cheryl noticed an infinitesimal spec as we hiked down the 6.5-mile rock covered trail. 

We admired the heart-shaped spot on the ground. 

We began walking away, and maybe 100’ past it, i stopped. 

Returning to the spot, i captured a few photos with some “team gear”. 

Almost didn’t.

  • Avery is a first year employee. She led the open mic. Wonderful, inspiring to see her outside her housekeeping role.
  • Ann is a professional violinist. She is Avery’s sole housekeeping colleague. Ann is covering her daughter’s final 3 weeks of an 11-week seasonal commitment.
  • Last night concluded superbly. Dawn (right now) is starting the same way…
Sperry Chalet Day 1 with Cheryl.

The day went opposite the way we hoped. We hoped for warm, sunny skies. Everyone knows it’s not what happens to you, it’s what you do with what happens to you. We had “sunny and warm” inside, all day.
