One-hundred days of writing got me started.

A year of writing got me mildly confused.

A decade of writing solidified a scalable life.

A decade and a half of writing leaves me wanting for almost nothing.

How much more writing will be enjoyed before reaching nirvana?

Home is the one place in the world where we can, and should, count on peace. There are laws against disturbing the peace.

Peace is synonymous with rest. Hence, rest in peace.

Rest generally implies a slower pace, a less intense focus, relaxation.

Where does fun enter the ‘home’ equation’?

When?

How often?

Why?

Why not?

We judge ourselves on our intentions. Others judge us on our behaviors.

It’s challenging to describe why The Snowman is my favorite “Christmas Special”.

There are no words spoken from the characters.

David Bowie, however, provides ethereal narration.

Walking back from dermatologist yesterday around noon.

The pinkish spot (due to ‘freezing’ the skin spot) in the crow’s foot was the reason for the dermatology visit.

Wisdom is lost on youth.

Wisdom is lost on youth with unprotected sun exposure. Invincible. Who needs sunblock? Not me.

Wisdom is again lost, but this time on aging adults.

Older adults who aren’t proactive in mitigating probable consequences from youthful habits.

Started going to a dermatologist once per year.

Then we moved it to every six months.

Last year we moved it to every four months.

And just yesterday, an unplanned, highly proactive fourth visit in 2023 to check on a small spot near my right temple. The good news is it’s not a concern (at this stage).

Two choices: Leave it alone. Freeze it off. Guess which i picked.

No brainer.
