Blockchain is being touted as having the same future significance the Internet was touted as having back in the 1980s, but, like the 1980’s and 1990’s, not many embraced the Internet – it was too new, too few used it, and its mass appeal was invisible.

The way we buy, sell, trade, and exchange anything is going to change.

How?

The middle-person is going away.

We will do everything we’ve always done, but we’ll be doing it directly with the buyer or seller person.

Being responsive is challenging because life is hard

Glacier Sperry Chalet in Winter — Glacier National Park Sperry Chalet burned down last Summer (2017). Walls propped up to keep snow from possibly collapsing walls.

Tree trimmers, almost on cue, rescheduled last Friday’s appointment to today.

Haven’t heard back from yesterday’s text asking if everything is still good for today.

Guessing today will be a no-show.

They do great work with trees.

It’s a tough business because they often go to jobs that require more of them than expected.

All i ask is a common courtesy to keep me informed.

Reasonable expectation?

pool pump repair — New pool pump motor doesn’t leak. Not one drop. Perfect.

home improvement list — i could tell Mike and hope we both remember (not a complicated or long list), or i could use Apple’s Notes app (cloud-based from any device) and print or send a copy.

high tech gloves — Planning for Summer Glacier National Park trips. Even in August, the morning temps are in the 40’s. These gloves do not need to be removed to use your iPhone (we take lots of photos).

Arlo security cameras resolution — The smallest things, like a security camera with a glitch, can take an hour or more to resolve. Agent gave me a broken link (try it) and then told me to try the link again in Google Chrome. i only use Apple’s Safari. Why would anyone have to switch browsers to get something to work? Kenn later apologized. Click **https://arlo.com/en-** to easily see it’s broken. This is the **link** he eventually gave me. By the way, the chat feature was impossible to find on the homepage, which is why i asked for the direct link.

All in a day’s work (and then some).

This is why being decently organized is critical for personal vibrancy.

Life is hard.

Being poorly organized makes it even harder.

i know this from decades of personal experience.

This inconvenience pales in comparison to a lifetime inconvenience

orlando plumbers — At school yesterday. Will call today. The time to look for a replacement is when you don’t need to. PS. This is not the plumber who’s coming today.

Getting the chain link fence removed this month.

That’s 75 cemented fence posts and roughly 500 feet of fence.

This is a big deal.

Getting the automated kitchen faucet repaired today too.

Not a big deal, but definitely an inconvenience.

But this inconvenience pales in comparison to the inconvenience of not being decently organized.
