As a Custodial Host, i can tell you first hand that spilled popcorn on a windy day is challenging.
Thank goodness for a calm day.
This could be me, or you. Custodial Hosts and Hostesses are the Ambassadors of our Disney Theme Parks.
Leaving Magic Kingdom yesterday for the bicycle ride home.
The closer you get, the better it looks.
What?
Disney’s attention to detail.
Let it be the same with you.
The closer others get to you, the clearer are your values, morales, generosity, kindness, forgiveness, gratitude, and appreciation for our diverse world and the beautiful people in it.

Cinderella Castle.
The slipper fit Cinderella’s foot and the evil step sisters faces were red with rage and green with envy.

i’m going to Disney World!
You know the line.
After a sports superstar wins the championship, Disney marketing captures the moment when the star athlete is asked, “Now that you’ve won the Super Bowl, what are you going to do next?”
Yesterday felt like that.”Now that you’ve delivered your first TED Talk, what are you going to do next?”
And the very next day, you see these people at Walt Disney World.

Dr Amir Zeid feels like a friend i’ve known all my life…and that was just from our digital conversations before we met in person.
Talk about being organized.
Ten speakers from around the globe, 400 Guests attending, an all-volunteer staff, special activities, US Ambassador to Kuwait (and security) and then there’s your real job and Family.
So impressed with Dr. Amir Zeid.

Omar Nour, TEDxAUK speaker one. Here, he’s having fun with Jack during our group AV check.
How did your TED Talk go?
It went really well.
i forgot my first line…and paused (froze) because i had to figure out how to proceed…and continued as if it never happened.
The first line was the hook.
Because i knew i wasn’t leading with the hook, panic set in.
In an instant, the hook had to come in as soon as possible, but only when it made sense.
This restructuring had never been considered, and in an instant, it had to be. Quickly.
On top of this was the pain of knowing i had royally screwed up.
Instinctively, the panic-induced pause had to be orchestrated into a pregnant pause.
Time will tell, once the video goes live in a month, if it’s obvious or invisible.
In the end, it was 20 years of speaking experience that allowed all of this to get processed and resolved in seconds, without the audience having a clue.
