Congratulations to Donna. She correctly answered yesterday’s “trivial tradition” question. Donna won a free prize.
Traditions are a critical success factor for a great corporate culture. And the same principals translate easily into our personal lives.
As a corporate professional speaker, for a fortune 100 company, I know well the secrets of being world class.
In fact, I applied my company’s strategies and tactics to running, of all things, just to prove to myself and especially others that the concepts I teach everyday can be applied anywhere, to anyone.
Can’t put our finger on things sometimes, can we? Stuff happens. Some good. Some not so good. Why? Who knows.

Being busy is really just a part of life. People have always been busy. Yet, we live like ours is the first generation to face such challenges.
Listen carefully when older people talk. Pay attention to history. You’ll discover times have always been tough, and always very busy.
When we accept this as never going away, we can begin to live. But not until then. Once we accept it, we can work real hard to figure out how to survive well, and to live well. It doesn’t require much.
Or maybe getting motivated isn’t the challenge for you, is it the staying motivated part that challenges you?
And then there are always people who can get and stay motivated, but not for the long haul. And by the way, the long way is the shortcut.
You must be able to kick your own butt.
If you don’t have the guts, passion, determination, or any other ingredient you need, to kick your own butt, your big dreams will remain elusive.
These five daily blogs are the foundation of a community, of a movement. And as this “community” grows, we will all find creative ways to increasingly be here for each other. You good with that?
