On more than one occasion, but not every single episode, ABC’s Shark Tank has profoundly, and simply, inspired me. Spent hours yesterday thinking and tweaking blogs and messages.

Insight: Our grand vision(s) must sometimes take a back seat while we find ways to survive make it first. If we don’t make it (succeed financially) first, we will never move to mastery, nor making a difference.

At a WordPress Orlando Meetup April 28, I walked away with a big aha. My elevator speech went on for minutes…. How often do you use your brilliant elevator speech? Yeah, like unless you’re in sales…..blah, blah, blah… Anyway, afterwards, walking to the car, rewrote the whole thing in my head:

“I help people discover the two most magnificent days in their life… Can I ask you two questions? How old are you? How much longer do you plan to live? See, there’s the catch. None of us know. Life is not a dress rehearsal. Later never comes. I excite people like you to live like you mean it. And, um, give speeches to change the world”.
