HQ for this Florida Sand Hill Crane family is our subdivision. HQ is our dwelling. Our home. The place we sleep. The place we store and protect our necessities and nonessentials. The place where we organize the paperwork of our life.

It seems the Sand Hill Crane family has two primary goals: to survive, and then to eventually mate. Their paperwork is on the light side. Their execution of their simple strategies – world class.

So glad odds fell in my favor and Bill Dellar could replace our 22-year old upstairs AC unit yesterday rather than today. Leaving for Palm Beach after 4pm on a Friday would have complicated things.
