Disney University was Disney Institute’s (DI) original home until the construction boom brought on by Michael Eisner and Frank Wells, in the late 1980’s. Now DI is based in Celebration, Florida, adjacent to southern Walt Disney World.

Disney Institute now calls DAPM, DASTE – Disney’s Approach to Selection, Training and Engagement. From DAPM, Communication and Care merged to form Engagement.

Disney character Jack Jack toy in the mountains — Carrying small Disney toys when traveling is a habit, maybe even a super-power.

Habits are evolutionary methods for us to reduce decision fatigue, avoid dangerous situations, and react to unplanned opportunity or threat, to facilitate our survival.
