On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

Think of me as a corporate architect

New Disney Business programs website
Coming in 35 days or less…a brand new Disney Keynote Speaker website.

Culture insidiously erodes when too many leaders aren’t focused, or when priorities are confused, and when employees at every level can’t find the courage to speak up to challenge the status quo.

Every company has a culture that’s either by design or by default. Think of me as a corporate culture architect, with the (ridiculously) simple blueprints for organizational vibrancy.

Culture yields the greatest business results when it’s something every employee wants to defend. The best (Disney) leaders over-focus on the same things others under-focus on or ignore – Vision, Involvement, Accountability, Commitment.

i’m going to Walt Disney World

i’m going to Walt Disney World.

Leaving my childhood home in an hour, bound for Harrisburg Airport, and a non-stop flight to Walt Disney World.

Business meetings concluded, it’s time to sleep in my own bed again.

No place like home.

  • You are one of a select group (jeff typically averages five or less clients per year)
  • Typical cross-section for pre-transformation commitment levels is roughly 20-60-20.
  • 20% – “Let’s go”
  • 60% – “I’ll wait and see”
  • 20% – “It’ll never work”
  • Some industries, like Healthcare, may have a fourth layer of employees; in this case Physicians.

Commitment is not a campaign slogan

Commitment is not a campaign slogan, not something that has a shelf life or a season.

Commitment is organizational vibrancy fuel.

No one will be more committed than you.

You set the temperature.

You are not there to maintain things, you are there to make them better.

Continuous improvement.

Never satisfied.

Always grateful.

The road to excellence has no finish line.

The long way is the short cut.
