Amber Cove 9am-6pm, home
It’s a bigger tourist operation than it looks.
Took just one photo while we were stopped. i was the last ATV in a train of eight.
Paid for a minor fender bender. Note: We sat under this amazing pair of Sea Grape trees.
7-second video: Midway we stopped for a short tour of a “typical” residence. They use propane now. Before propane, they used a fire like here.17-second video: Multiple buildings for: sleeping, eating, cooking, bathroom. There is a primitive septic drain field in this video.3-second video: Homestead tour concludes and we are resuming the ATV experience. 12-second video: Our private lounge — an upper-level Carnival loyalty perk. It begins with the “balcony pool” and goes 25 lounge chairs to the right. Then a long row of stateroom cabanas all the way to the ship’s front.
Would you rather have a trivial public embarrassment, or a significant private embarrassment?
The longer i live the less i get embarrassed.
Why?
Everyone “screws up”. Everyone.
Private significant screwups can last a lifetime.
Trivial public screwups are over soon after they happen.
The Universe is kind like that. Grateful for the cosmos.
