Every time you make an exception and lower your standard

Ben Towers
i sat in Ben’s seat while he spoke. As a professional speaker, he nailed it. As a 20-year old, he’s definitely in the prodigy realm.

What we accept by default becomes the standard.

Every time you make an exception and lower your standard you are chipping away at your new, lower standard.

Taking a stand is what sets a standard.

Not taking a stand also sets a standard.

One standard builds strength.

The other standard doesn’t.

PS. The good news is the same thing happens in reverse too.
