We can readily see (we humans are such critics, eh?) the plank in another’s eye and go a lifetime without seeing our own.
Lauren, the mother, has five children.
We are going to see her and her children today.
It’s a decent drive, but one we look forward to.
We will be adopting one of her boys, later this Summer.
Do you lean into it? Life, do you lean into it?

Taking risks is, of course, risky.
So is playing it safe.
Talking about what we’re gonna do is far more wide-spread than actually doing what we say we’re gonna do.
Right?
We see it and hear it everyday.
I finally figured out why.
Because talking about it is sooo much easier than actually doing it.

I met the most amazing woman during an interview.
We wound up being colleagues on a co-ed floor in Ramsey Hall.
Four years later, on June 25, we were married.
Today is the 27th time we’ve celebrated that day.
Never gets old.
