The challenges with GoDaddy the past two months are remarkable.

i’m remarking about the issues to every GoDaddy employee i speak with.

These are not excellence-driven remarks.

These are “WTF” (Wow, That’s Funny”) remarks.

It’s astounding.

Misinformation.

Unwelcome surprises.

Dropped balls.

Broken promises.

Over-selling.

Under-delivering.

And yet.

And yet i’m still a fan.

Why?

(sometimes i wonder why)

Because since 2008, GoDaddy has impressed me in the same league as Disney, Apple, WordPress.

We are heading South and will collide into a late-season Gulf of Mexico weather event that’s creeping up the East Coast.

Time will tell how driving conditions unfold.

We could have left yesterday and avoided the challenge.

But departing yesterday at 6:30 AM felt rushed.

So we stayed an extra day and enjoyed the laid-back pace.
