Trust the brave hearts who do, not say

There’s always a pen in my pocket. Always.

Trust the brave hearts who do, not say.

The internet is full of talkers.

Trolls, wanna-be’s, insecure and under-confident hopefuls, plus many other angry, attention and validation-seeking people looking for a place to feel important.

Never listen to criticism from people who aren’t brave with their own lives.

Identify thought leaders and then watch what they do. Even thought leaders are vulnerable to the temptation to cash in on talk, aka theory, but not exhibit demonstrable personal vibrancy – balanced and excellent habits and rituals.

No one even remotely thought we’d ever be a couple

Last night in the Gulf of Mexico.

No one even remotely thought we’d ever be a couple.

Not in a million years.

None of your friends.

None of mine.

As colleague Resident Advisors on Ramsey Hall’s co-ed (every other room) 6th (top) floor, we both were involved with the person we thought we’d marry. You, even to the point of being engaged.

Turns out we became best friends unintentionally.

The rest as they say, is history.

History, glorious history.

Now more than ever

Inspiring Twitter post.

Now more than ever is a great time to be thankful for the present moment.

Is it possible to detach from hoped-for outcomes (results)?

Maybe detached is a misleading word.

Is it possible to hope for an outcome yet be at peace if it doesn’t happen?

Is it possible that persistence and tenacity may be the creative way to accept (detach) undesired outcomes while simultaneously being creatively driven (attached?) to keep moving forward?

For example, most cures and technological life enhancements are the result of being “attached” to a vision of the future that’s not only better than now, but much better.

You are what you eat

You are what you eat.

In the Twitter screen shot above (focused on mind, body, spirit), i’m adding that your work skills adapt to how you approach your art day after day. And, your home skills adapt to how you reduce, reuse, recycle and organize your stuff and processes.

Heading to Island time

Trading Glacier for Sanibel this afternoon.

Heading to Island time at noon today.

Have the kind of day today you wish to see in the world.

Travel as lightly as you possibly can and know that what you might miss by packing light will end like this:

  • You’ll live comfortably without it
  • You find a creative alternative to get you by
