One is in control, the other is at the mercy of waiting.
Being organized means figuring this out.

Six years of diligent personal organization can go by rather quickly.
Time waits for no one.
Pretty decent case for initiating our biggest dreams plans in life.
How long would you be willing to persevere in order to reach a dream?
Unlikely at 16 we had the vision for what we wanted to become at 21.
Not that crazy at 49 to envision what could happen at 55.

We have to start our own fire.
If lost in the wilderness in freezing temperatures, to avoid freezing to death overnight gather 10 times as much firewood as you think you’ll need.
Very time consuming.
Overkill?
No. Yet it is the right strategy you would need to survive the night without freezing to death.
This may seem unrelated to everyday civilized life.
Be 10 times more organized with our possessions than we think we need to be. Otherwise, we might kill our peace.

Do it anyway.
Seek peace with who you are.
Seek contentment with what you have.
Those not liking you have their own battles to fight. Be kind, gentle, and generous, and feel no obligation to change their mind.

Personal organization reaches a pinnacle when we have very little left to organize.
It’s not like we get to take it with us.
