Unpacking from being gone for nine days has my office looking disorganized by my standards, yet decently organized by many others.

The secret sauce really is simply over-focusing on the same things others under-focus on or ignore. This is Disney’s secret sauce, and it’s been mine as well for the past eight years.

Although it’s a Saturday, i will work today to clear things and get back to “normal” asap. The unexpected is always right around the corner. Plan to be prepared for it.

The Voice 2015 winner announcement — Watched the recording two days after the fact.

Last night a potential client saw my speaking fees (after we scheduled a conference call) and thought it would be prudent to cancel our call for 9am this morning. i replied back…

i’m going into this with an open mind and no expectation that this works out. Disney has just inherently made me optimistic that there is always a solution and that it hardly ever looks like what we think it will look like.

And last night’s spontaneous reply to her reinforced something else that’s been dominating my thoughts this week. The way i blog is so abnormal. And the longer it goes on, the more i believe it’s perfect even if 99% of the general public doesn’t understand it.

What is an Apple promoter?

Promoters are the highest level of Apple fans.

Walked into the Apple Store (above) and self-purchased three items using the Apple Store app. Then proceeded to exit without ever having to have an Apple employee assist me.

As an aside, i spoke to a couple of them that i know, just to say hi.
