How Organized Do You Have To Be?

August 31, 2010
August 31, 2010

How organized do you have to be to remember important milestones or anniversaries, like today’s 30th anniversary of John Lennon’s assassination?

Where were you when you first heard the news? How did it make you feel? What did you do about it?

You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one…

Is A Heart Attack A Blessing?

We are on the ride of our lives.

Get Used To This?

Yesterday’s post wasn’t inferring The Dalai Lama was a jerk.

It was inferring people who have made significant changes in world history were.

Mostly, these game changers went counter-culture, making others angry, frustrated or uncomfortable.

It’s not uncommon for people to try to make you feel like a jerk, when your intent is to push boundaries. Maybe it’s fear, ignorance, resistance to change, jealousy.

People with the vision to push, are often labeled crazy, heretic, strange.

I have learned a long and hard lesson, there’s only one solution.

Get used to it.

Trying Something New

Anyone Seen My Phone?
Anyone Seen My Phone?

How challenging is your daily grind?

Meaning, the day to day administrative stuff, like paying bills, deciding when and where to get the oil changed (assuming you have a vehicle), whether to have a battery powered alarm clock as a backup for the electric one and what type to purchase.

Or the process for storing your car keys, wallet, and cell phone, so you never lose these things. Or keeping a backup phone charger in the most logical place.

Without a decent handle on the day-to-day things, your life piles up and overwhelms you.

Ya with me?
