Organize yourself to say a lot with minimal expense

Glacier Park
Yes, sunlight.

Organize yourself to say a lot with minimal expense.

Say a lot with as few words as possible.

Why?

Reading long books is overrated. Do you really want to read 200+ pages when more than 150+ are fluff? There’s a reason guys like don’t bother to finish every book.  – Joe Luger

Fear and cancer have the same insidious, debilitating effect

biking Glacier National Park
Eight-day bike rental secured three months ago. Good luck trying to rent bike now.

Fear is like cancer.

It can kill you, metaphorically.

You can eradicate fear, like some cancers, in your life with herculean efforts.

And there’s always the reality that cancer (fear) can return.

What then?

You begin the eradication process again.

One week left to stay on track

Disney Leadership book storyboard
Disney Leadership book nearing completion. The Leadership book storyboard was completed Summer 2016.

One week left to stay on track.

Seven Disney business books written in one year.

Here’s the math:

The first six books, at 60 days each, divided equally amongst the 12 months.

The seventh book (how to apply Disney business principals to your personal life) is being written concurrently over the course of the year.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

You may not realize this, but i don’t plan in advance where i’ll write from.

Yesterday, knew i’d stop somewhere at Disney on the way home from the gym. Originally was thinking Disney’s Old Key West Vacation Club on the drive.

Literally half a mile from the Old Key West exit, i swung to the far left lane for Typhoon Lagoon.

Doing it this way is best described as joy.

i like joy.

Joy is good.

i hope your day is filled with it today.
