There’s a Goat trail leading to the snow. i went part way and didn’t have the desire to go further. Why? Because i just did something i thought was impossible for me.
Jean and Logan told me about the second Grinnell Glacier Overlook saddle (today’s featured photos) being easily reachable. Ran into them on the trail near the Chalet and offered to escort them up.
Escorted Jean and Logan up to Swiftcurrent Ridge (my label) as a shortcut to Swiftcurrent Glacier. On right horizon is where i had just come from, the second Grinnell Glacier Overlook saddle.
Granite Park Chalet is a great classroom. The second saddle is a big smiley face, in my opinion.
