Our go-to West Glacier Restaurant has a ‘Glacier Growler’ jug. We have dozens of mature Split-Leaf Philodendrons.
Tropics. Mountains. Palms. Grizzlies. One Earth.
dad
It’s so much fun to know palm trees and sunshine will follow me (us) all the days of our lives.

14-second video: Special video from a phone. A phone! How does a phone capture a video like this?!
Always take the good time with you.
dad
Perfect conditions are rare.
Excellent conditions are uncommon.
But most common of all are good conditions.
Depending on your experience, you may come to believe that good and very good aren’t good enough.
Disney taught me (and Cheryl) that.
Insight: Always make the most of every situation. So as you pack your stuff for the trip, the day, or the party, always pack ‘a good time’.

Main Street USA. Aka, our UHaul storage unit hallway. We love having a 5’x5’ piece of real estate.
First beer of the season. Photo and post by Kim Gill Hall. She also took and posted the next ‘Northern Lights’ photo…

Calypso orchid. Tiny. We only saw four on a one-mile trek up 800’ toward Sperry Chalet.
If you zoom in, while fuzzy, you get an idea how tiny the Calypso Orchid is. Ps. Look for the purple-ish color.
The calypso orchid towers at 3”.
13-second video: Even though we are the paying customers, we treat Kevin and Suzie like customers (aka cherished friends in Disney lingo).
Behave admirably.

We get to experience each Glacier trip three times. When we plan it, when we visit, and when we talk about it later.
Lean into discomfort, think differently, and have fun while you reap what you’ve sown.

Who knew?
Your dad for starters.
Insight: Vibrancy took me four to five decades.
Dream: My dream is you cut 10 years off that.

Bob Bilby. A real-life Australian marsupial. And, Australia’s “Easter Bunny”.
Grizzly. Today’s animal photos were taken yesterday.
Leading others often feels like a Zoo. Same with leading self. Be intentionally over-focused to figure it out.
dad
People, and animals, have a mind of their own.
Both can be tamed.
Neither is easily tamed.
Some should never be tamed.
And then there’s this…
Alan is the Lodge’s Front Office manager. We met years ago and have stayed friends and occasional hiking partners.
7-second video: Context for the souvenir mini lamp.
