Mid Life Celebration, LLC founder — Cheryl in 2020. Pre-Covid. She had just retired (never seeing covid coming) one month before sheltering at home, and before life-as-normal stopped being normal.

Asked Cheryl this morning how she’s feeling about what she needs to get done today.

She said she’s all set.

We’re going to Paris.

Wheels up in 48 hours.

Feels like hitting the home-life lottery.

T-minus 5 days, home

What feels like the final purge of a lifetime collection of Disney papers is exciting.

Yet like i always say, everything takes longer than planned. And yes, there are exceptions.

So with only five ‘purging days’ left, not sure i’ll finish. Note, if all i was preoccupied with this week was purging, five days seems realistic.

But there’s another – dare i say more important – goal this week.

The more important goal?

France trip.

Two competing goals:

To enjoy the Disney paperwork purge, without rushing.
To savor the five full days remaining before we fly away.

Prioritized priorities are an incredibly vibrant way to run anything. A company. A personal life.

Doing this trip trumps any sort of financial efficiency.

Why?

Because time is sometimes more valuable than money.

The clock is always ticking.

Note to self…

Please be careful.

And intentional.

Happy present moment.

What time are the fireworks?

What time are the fireworks?

It was dark, but it wasn’t even 7:00 PM yet.

We confirmed what we thought, fireworks at 9:00 PM.

Sometimes Magic Kingdom fireworks are at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM.

Different timing will make viewing the fireworks effortless. Closeup. Free. Stunning.
