Day 1 CCL, home

15-second video: When you find reliable cell-signal deep in, remember where you found it.
More location context to the best ATT hotspot deep in.
27-second video: Motivation’s epitome.
4-second good-night video: From our balcony.

Stay motivated.

Simple as that.

Simple doesn’t mean easy.

But simple does mean simple.

Find a million ways.

(to stay motivated)

Day 7 GIL, home

25-second video: Client video. Great backdrop for going the extra inch. Worth noting, again, i do not pursue this close proximity.

The best way to tell others how to prioritize is through the behaviors your priorities produce.

Day 6 GIL, home

Two people in the mountains
Continental Divide in the background. Reynolds Mountain on the far right.
In this video, you see that there is no trail, in any direction, anywhere.
14-second video: From the Comeau Pass staircase, the next 3 miles are an easily marked trail.
25-second video: Heading down from Comeau Pass. There are two decent waterfalls in this video that are almost invisible because everything else is so big.
Trailhead sign
We started at 8:15 AM and finished at 3:15 PM.
Two people sitting in a mountain chalet room
We mostly played in the dining hall, but when they needed to get ready for dinner, we played here.
8-second video: we had a great time playing Dominion every day.
Room full of people in a mountain chalet dining hall
Every summer there are nine Sperry Chalet staff members. L-R: Brian, Maggie, Ann, Bryce, John, Steve, Olivia, Lilly, and Brian.

Two habitual human focuses. One dominates. One liberates.

Freedom is what we seek.

Freedom from what?

Freedom from lifelong, spoon-fed standards and expectations.

Society doesn’t feed us personal vibrancy standards and expectations. What if it did?

Meanwhile consider, no, confront yourself with, this idea: Survive or thrive? Conform or lead?

We follow the herd’s path in the first list. We follow our own path on the second list.

Day 5 GIL, home

8-second video: Great start to our five-day Sperry Chalet experience.
3-second video: You do not expect dessert when you are deep in the wilderness.
32-second video: What’s it like hiking in Glacier? Sometimes it’s like this.

People who thrive don’t just intelligently establish priorities, they intentionally prioritize their priorities to influence lifelong, vibrant behavior.

Day 4 GIL, home

College football score on TV
Notre Dame couldn’t pull it out.

We win some.

We lose some.

And so it goes.

Happy present moment.
