Electrifying?

Apple Keynote slide deck screen shot
Brainstorming a Keynote speech. Since 1999, have never heard someone describe my presentation as electrifying. Felt decent. Why? Because on the Zoom meeting, there were three other “world-famous” Disney Speakers. Going first, there was no second chance to change the “kickoff” energy.

You know what word is rarely used as feedback?

Electrifying.

It happened in the Zoom chat yesterday.

Electrifying?

Really?

Wow.

For a teacher to be associated with electrifying is quite a compliment.

If you’ve ever been accused of being electrifying, let there be enough evidence to convict you.

Happy present moment.

Joyful intensity

Thank you card arrived yesterday.

#Joyfulintensity

The note reads:

Jeff,

I wanted to take a minute, and write you a quick thank you. First off thank you for the phone call a few weeks ago. The energy you brought coupled with your enthusiasm is what created “#JoyfulIntensity“.

I have already coined the phrase at work, and it’s catching on. I also want to thank you for your wonderful book. You stirred up thoughts I have never had before. In a few pages you woke me up!

I appreciate your time by phone, text, or email. Your patience, kindness, and passion shines! I hope your success soars.

#JOYFULINTENSITY

Glacier National Park
Grinnell Glacier hike…taken with iPhone.

(Word for word, my email response to a Disney colleague who’s joining me on a Glacier trip…)

Dude, other than Alaska, this may be America’s most natural, unspoiled land.

One million acres, 734 miles of trail, 300 Grizzlies.

Forgot to tell you not to worry about seating…hope you got aisle or whatever you like.

Also forgot, on the flight into Kalispell, i ALWAYs aim for a window seat on the right side (away from the wing)…on a clear day, you get an advance look at the place.

Thanks for your trademark enthusiasm.
