inspirational plaque — Kay Luding’s grandson, Kevin, has been the Sperry Chalet proprietor for at least a decade, possibly longer. Kevin told me yesterday (New Year’s Day 2026) that his concessionaire-contract signature expired December 31, 2025 and he is now retired from Sperry. He had hinted at this five months ago when we had dinner at Sperry.

What the New Year brings you proportionally depends on what you bring to 2026.

holiday greeting card — We’ve been together a decade. We met at Lee Cockerell’s home two weeks before i officially retired on Halloween 2014. Mark and i began collaborating in early 2015.

There’s a last time for everything.

Sometimes we welcome the last time.
