Because over-focusing is a ‘weird’ concept.

Few have ever heard of it.

Fewer still have have ever applied the wisdom.

But grow up in a world-class organization, famous for exceeding customer (and employee) expectations, and it’s all you know — how and why would you do it any other way? Even at home, it makes perfect sense.
